About Us

Molnar Laser was first established in 1999 to produce high quality cut parts for the tight tolerance demands of the robot welders used by parent company, Molnar Hoists Pty Ltd.

Molnar have been manufacturing premium vehicle hoists for over 30 years and were struggling to find a supply partner to deliver the level of quality parts demanded from their parts. Originally created as a production process attached to the hoist business, independent demand for Molnar Laser’s services soon saw them established as a separate company.

Now a part of the Molnar Group, Molnar Laser is renown for quality, innovation and service. Furthermore, we are the only rectangular tube laser cutting facility in South Australia .With access to the extended skill set of partner companies Molnar Engineering and Molnar Hoists, Molnar Laser can offer customers a complete end to end solution for a large range of metal fabrication projects.

Located in Ridleyton, South Australia, Molnar Laser uses the latest technology combined with a highly skilled team of industry experts. We pride ourselves on our innovative approach to and our diversity of projects. We invite you to visit our gallery to view past and present projects.

Did you know?

  • The acronym LASER stands for "Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation".
  • In 1917, Albert Einstein laid the foundation for the laser when he introduced the concept of stimulated emission but it was Theodore Maiman who developed the first working laser in 1960.
  • Since that time, laser technology has seen spectacular developments that enable parts to be created that are virtually impossible to make using traditional means.
  • Laser remains the most precise cutting technology available. It can be focussed to diameters of 0.1mm and produces little to no heat affected cut zone despite reaching surface temperatures exceeding 13,000 degrees Celsius.
