Drawings

We accept a number of different file formats for supply of part drawings and/or artwork, however some formats may require conversion that will incur an additional fee. Where possible, we recommend supply of drawings or artwork in the preferred format only.

Preferred file formats for part drawings or artwork (requiring no additional conversion):

Flat Parts
• .DXF
• .DWG

Tube Parts*
• .DXF
• .DWG
• .PDF

Other accepted files formats for drawings or artwork:

EPS (Encapsulated Post Script)

AI (Adobe Illustrator)

Drawing files supplied must be supplied with the parts scaled 1:1 or with an indication of scale.

*Drawings for tube parts should be supplied as flat pattern drawings fully dimensioned. Fully dimensioned drawings of tube parts will be accepted for quoting if supplied as Adobe Portable Document Format (filename extension .PDF) files.

Please note that a programming fee may be charged for drawings supplied in an alternative format; without sufficient dimension; without sufficient information or part profiles supplied not as drawings. Costs will depend on the complexity of work required to develop the drawing file.
